Holy Fracking Sheep Shit!
Another example of Donald Trump’s treatment of women is breaking in a new David Fahrenthold piece. Trump was caught on a hot microphone in 2005 bragging about using his celebrity and fame to grope as many women as he wanted.
The video obtained by the Washington Post showed Trump with Billy Bush of “Access Hollywood” on the set of “Days of Our Lives” for an upcoming cameo.
Trump admits to his failed attempts in the past to seduce one women. “I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it,” Trump said. The taping occurred a few months after his marriage to third wife Melania. “I did try and f*ck her. She was married.”
Trump then moves on saying he moved in on her in an aggressive way. “I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’”
He then admitted, “I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married,” Trump says. “Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”
The two then see soap star Arianne Zucker. “Your girl’s hot as sh*t, in the purple,” Bush is overheard saying. Bush now co-hosts “The Today Show.”
“Whoa!” Trump says. “Whoa!”
“I’ve gotta use some tic tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump jokes.“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”
“And when you’re a star they let you do it,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”
He then goes on to say, “Grab them by the p*ssy. You can do anything.”
The reaction on CNN is just plain apoplectic.
This is is, it’s over. We’ve had other instances where we thought Trump was finished, this could be it.
For the first time ever, Donald Trump has apologized, or rather nopologized-— “if anyone was offended”. Uh, who the frack isn’t offended?
And Just for the record Donald Trump married Melania in January of 2005 the same year this tape was recorded.
After moving to New York City in 1996,[27] Melania met Donald Trump at a Fashion Week party in New York City in September 1998, while he was still married to, but separated from, Marla Maples;[2][28] Donald attended the event with another date, Celina Midelfart, and Melania initially refused to give Donald her phone number.[21] Melania broke off the relationship shortly after it began, but the couple reconciled after a few months.[4] Their relationship gained attention after a 1999 interview on The Howard Stern Show.[29] In 2000, Melania appeared with Donald while he campaigned for that year's Reform Party presidential nomination.[29] Their relationship gained additional publicity after the 2004 launch of Donald's business-oriented reality television show, The Apprentice. Donald described their long courtship in 2005: "We literally have never had an argument, forget about the word 'fight' ... We just are very compatible. We get along."[28]
After becoming engaged in 2004, Donald and Melania were married on January 22, 2005, at The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida, followed by a reception in the ballroom at Donald's Mar-a-Lago estate.[30]
So basically he was a newlywed when he said this crap.
Today, Mike Pence ran from reporters like a rabbit when asked about this.
Pool reporters were ditched by Donald Trump’s vice presidential running mate Mike Pence this afternoon as the news was breaking about Trump’s “hot mic” moment talking about women in vulgar terms. Reporters have been shocked and disgusted as have Republicans, who are coming out to denounce it.
As the story was breaking, Pence was shaking hands at a local restaurant in Toledo, Ohio, where it is customary for famous people to autograph a hot dog bun. Pool reporters followed Pence into the restaurant to take photos and throw out a few questions. According to CNN’s Brianna Keilar, the staffer with Pence was leading reporters back to the back where Pence was. The staffer then stopped and had pool reporters stay where they were, goes back to Pence to say something.
“You know what, we’re not doing this,” the aide said, returning to reporters.
Not only does Trump and Pence have to answer for this, so do all his little talking head sycophants, and so far that’s not going well.
Scottie Nell Hughes tried to spin to blaming Hillary Clinton for Benghazi instead of talking about Trump’s words and the way he has historically treated women. “Well, those words are horrendous. They are appalling. They are dreadful. they are fowl. But I’ll say this. The words for Donald Trump 11 years ago are bad. But not near as bad as Hillary Clinton since she’s been in office.”
CNN host Erin Burnett wasn’t having any of it. “I understand what you are saying do Scottie. But I have to ask you, has anything changed for you when you hear this about Donald Trump. Is it different this time?”
Not surprisingly, she said no.
Democratic surrogate Maria Cardona simply felt bad for all of the surrogates who had to spin this into something. “I really do feel for my colleague Scottie, my colleague Corey and all of the Trump supporters who have to come on and really defend the indefensible,” she said. “And we’ve all said what he’s done up until now and even not counting this has been indefensible. Ihe problem with this is that Trump supporters love to say he’s running for office and people support him because he speaks from the heart. Yes, that is exactly right. He does speak from the heart. And that is what should scare everybody to our core.”
Yeah, that.
Erin even goes on to recount the story of a woman she knew and she describes Trump using the tic-tac maneuver on her in 2010, five years after the Access Hollywood tape. He wasn’t just telling a wild story with “locker room talk” — he really did that shit. He was still doing it five years after. He like Scottie, is likely to try and flip this into an attack on Bill Clinton and his behavior, but then don’t all of his female surrogates now wind up doing exactly what they like accusing Hillary of — defending a man who is a predator of women?
Speaker Ryan has disinvited Trump to a joint event planned for tomorrow.
“I am sickened by what I heard today,” Ryan said in a statement. “Women are to be championed and revered, not objectified. I hope Mr. Trump treats this situation with the seriousness it deserves and works to demonstrate to the country that he has great respect for women than this clip suggests. In the meantime, he is no longer attending tomorrow’s event in Wisconsin.”
Ryan’s former running mate Mitt Romney is not at all happy, not even a little bit.
And isn’t this exactly what we’ve been hearing about Trump for months? Isn’t this kind of attitude and treatment exactly that Alicia Machado was talking about? Isn’t this exactly what other Miss Universe contestant and “The Apprentice Staff” said?
In his years as a reality TV boss on "The Apprentice," Donald Trump repeatedly demeaned women with sexist language, according to show insiders who said he rated female contestants by the size of their breasts and talked about which ones he'd like to have sex with.
The Associated Press interviewed more than 20 people — former crew members, editors and contestants — who described crass behavior by Trump behind the scenes of the long-running hit show, in which aspiring capitalists were given tasks to perform as they competed for jobs working for him.
The staffers and contestants agreed to recount their experiences as Trump's behavior toward women has become a core issue in the presidential campaign. Interviewed separately, they gave concurring accounts of inappropriate conduct on the set.
Eight former crew members recalled that he repeatedly made lewd comments about a camerawoman he said had a nice rear, comparing her beauty to that of his daughter, Ivanka.
And then there’s the report that Trump tried to have the “not hot” women fired at his golf courses.
Now, The Los Angeles Times has dug up some damning documents from an old lawsuit filed by employees at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The lawsuit alleges that Trump trolled the golf course when he visited looking for attractive employees, and wanted to fire fat, less attractive women. Documents from the lawsuit contend that managers had to change schedules around so only the good looking women were on duty when Trump was around.
“Donald Trump always wanted good looking women working at the club. I know this because one time he took me aside and said, ‘I want you to get some good looking hostesses here. People like to see good looking people when they come in,” said Sue Kwiatkowski, a restaurant manager at the club in a declaration obtained by The Times.
In another incident, a Trump bodyguard allegedly warned the catering director about Trump’s preference.
“Mr. Stellio (the bodyguard) told me to do this because ‘Mr. Trump doesn’t like fat people’ and that he would not like seeing [the employee] when he was on the premises,” wrote Hayley Strozier in a 2008 sworn declaration.
The surprising part is that this isn’t really news, we’ve known about this for months, years even after Trump’s multiple appearances on Howard Stern’s show. The only difference is now we have his own words on tape.
And the next debate is in just two days.
