The Unitarian Universalist Church in the Denver-Boulder Metro Area are joining others to rally and march for Justice for Michael Brown and an end to police violence and systematic racism in Denver.
Denver March and Rally for Justice
Tomorrow, Tuesday August 19th, at 6:00pm
24th & Welton to CO State Capitol
After Thursday's National Moment of Silence, many of us felt inspired and moved to continue working hard and nonviolently for justice for Mike Brown, and for an end to systemic violence against black people and people of color.
There will be a rally and march Tuesday, August 19 beginning at 6 PM MDT. We will gather at 24th & Welton at 6. Gathering time 6-6:30.
Our rally will begin at 6:30 and we will march to the Capitol at 6:45, via Broadway.
Bring signs, chants, songs, poems, water, and energy to continue on in this struggle for justice and true equality. Spread the word far and wide. Make flyers and talk to people about it. We hope to arrive at the Capitol between 7:20 and 7:30, well before sunset.
