While some Democratic leaders are attacking Howard Dean for "insensitive" remarks, they are turning a deaf ear to a large number of totally frustrated constituents who are frothing at the mouth to follow him into the enemy camp, armed to the teeth. We see Republican hypocrisy daily and need a person like Dean to staple their nuts to their forheads. When he does, we need to cheer him on loudly and not let the corporate media bash him without a legion of responses via e-mail, fax, telephone or smoke signals if that's what it takes. For that matter, a legion of communiqués to Democrats like Joe (MBNA) Biden and Nancy Pelosie wouldn't hurt either. They need to know that we are tired of being kicked in the collective groin.
I am not advocating that Howard should do exactly as the Neocons, like fabricating facts or slanting info to use against opponents. So far, Dean has not done so nor has he needed to. Lies, hypocrisy and double standards are abundant and Dean has merely pointed some of them out. And there are certainly enough issues available: Iraq, WMD, Downing Street Memo, etc, etc, etc.
