Wow. Yahoo! really outdid themselves here:
Bush Monitors Earthquake Damage From Texas
A snippet:
CRAWFORD, Texas - President Bush (news - web sites) spent part of Monday at his Texas ranch monitoring devastation from a deadly earthquake in Southeast Asia -- a replay of his post-Christmas vacation last year when he was monitoring damage from an earthquake in Iran.
I laugh because it is all I have left.
"He's been monitoring it very closely," White House spokesman Trent Duffy told reporters at a briefing here. "He's seen some of the images on television."
Veeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrry closely...he puts his nose right up to the screen.
But ma said not to do that too long. How does he spend the rest of his day? Calling people, making sure we're doing what we can to build bridges to that part of the world?

Bush also spent time clearing brush at his ranch and thinking about what he'll say in his inaugural speech and upcoming State of the Union address.
"Now is a time for him to, sort of, think about how he wants to address the American people," Duffy said, adding that there were no speechwriters at the ranch. "I think the best way to characterize it is there are some initial drafts."
Kinda, sorta think of...
23,000 dead people in a place in the world we might not want to write off?
Here's the key points:
- Vacation
- Worst disaster of modern times [caused by nature and not Bush himself]
- Tee Vee [Just waitin' for 'Baywatch']
- Brush clearin' n Speech writin' [static, static, 'Come in bulge, come in!', static...]
He's compassionate ['Poor Ashuns...']
He's on top of things ['Meant to cut this brush since the beginnin' of the war!']
He's everything I didn't vote for.
Thank you Yahoo! for praising a man who ignores a needful situation because it doesn't effect him.
I wonder if he even called Washington.
I could go on, but I don't have to...
...it's your turn.
