Well, Bush's poll numbers are back down past the level they were before the Saddam-bounce. Apparently, after the capture of Saddam faded from the public's short-lived memories, Bush's poll numbers did what they do best, decline.
With an election looming in a few months and several scandals coming home to roost, these declining poll numbers spell big trouble for Team Bush II. As demonstrated, the best way to get Shrubya a bounce is to trot out some has been criminal.
