I've wondered what PJ thinks about our occupation of post-Saddam Iraq, and hope he has something to say. His libertarian "pants-down Republican" stance must be difficult to reconcile with recent events.
I met PJ once, in 1970, in the Grad Club at Johns Hopkins. He was an MA candidate, I was a freshman, and we both wanted beer. He didn't say much, but what he said was funny.
Anyway, he's been in Iraq:

I'd like to hear his opinions. He is now my favorite living humorist; God rest Douglas Adams.
