OK, this is pre-emptive medicine. Tomorrow, there's likely to be a new national poll by Gallup that shows the biggest Bush lead yet. Drudge says 14 points. Granted, that's Drudge, and there's something more than a little weird about a rumour about a poll coming out a day before the poll itself (which suggests they were going to release today but decided to test another night because they don't trust the results).
Still, everyone just needs to take it and keep moving. The other polls are all showing movement in our direction. Something's weird about their LV model, especially this early. It's not hard to get bizarre results like that with even a slightly off model. So take heart. Thursday night (Rosh Hoshanah) was apparently a really bad night for Kerry, according to Rasmussen, who even weights for party. For Gallup, which doesn't, it seems to have been horrendous.
Get a good night's sleep.
