As reported by
Media Matters, Jerome Corsi is planning to run against Kerry in 2008 for his Senate seat. To do so, he intends to move to Massachusetts.
You may remember this liar as co-author of "Unfit for Command." Here's what he said in his column today at: WorldNetDaily.com. More below the fold...
I do plan to move to Massachusetts to run for the Senate against John Kerry in '08. Yes, I want to keep the challenge of "Unfit for Command" alive, just in case Kerry is serious about another run for the presidency.
But, even more important, I think John Kerry will be vulnerable in Massachusetts. The Bay State may well be ripe for a strong conservative challenge. The Democratic Party should not count the current Blue States as a secure enclave. Get out the map of Massachusetts and look at how much red there is. Take Boston out of the equation and the state has real possibilities even now for inclusion in the Red State category.
My email to Mr. Corsi...
Dear Mr. Corsi,
I am responding to your rather naive column of January 28, which was brought to my attention by Media Matters for America. As a resident of Massachusetts, I can assure you that you grossly underestimate the voters of the Bay State. We have no need for you. Please don't bother to move to our proud Blue State.
It seems your unsubstantiated fact, that one should "get out the map of Massachusetts and look at how much red there is," should be reviewed for accuracy. Media Matters has been gracious in providing a link that refutes your claim. Here's a map that aptly shows how blue it is: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004//pages/results/states/MA/P/00/map.html. I have no idea where you get your information from, and apparently you don't either as seen in the fiction that is "Unfit for Command," but I suggest that you stay out of the Bay (Blue) State.
You are not welcome here, sir. Perhaps you just need to hear that from a resident..
For those of you who live in Massachusetts and agree he is not welcome here, tell Corsi to STAY OUT!
