The Capitalist adventure gone awry.
I saw Bulworth last night with Warren Beatty and Hal Berre.
If you havent seen this movie, you must.
It is abit of political satire that political junkies like us can surely enjoy.
Bulworth is the white male incumbent politician that has nothing to lose, filled with corruption, and at the top of his political grease game, and all of a sudden loses it,
hires someone to kill him, and then goes around spouting his real thoughts at public events.
Exposing politicians true priorities and why they ignore poor black people and
listen to rich television executives or multibillion dollar insurance companies.
Bulworth is a reminder to us in these days after Katrina, why it exactly is that poor people dont matter to politicians.
It reminds us that the politicians are steeped in corrupt habits and have no connection to the masses of citizens.
it reminds us that the media is owned by corporations that have no interest in the public good, only in the corporate good.
So, the short of it is,
if youre wondering why Bush is as incompetent as he is,
just take a look at what
J Billington Bulworth was like before he changed to a populist.
