Is anyone else watching Hardball on MSNBC this evening?
Clearly I've had a stroke, because it seems to me like Chris Matthews just gave Senator Carl Levin free air-time - uncontested by a shrieking GOP harpy - to lay out the case for America being misled into war. In fact, it seemed like Matthews was prompting Levin with "softball" leading questions.
This is the episode of Hardball I always believed should be on the air but never was.
Of course, now EJ Dionne and Tony Blankley are on so the typical he said/she said shall begin. But even Blankley isn't being the usual pitball and Matthews is challenging him.
Can someone else confirm they are seeing this, or am I hallucinating?
