I'm trying to keep this straight, but from what I can from the likes of O'leilly, Malkin, Redstate.org, Drudge, etc, etc...
You are legitimate anti-war protestor if and only if:
- You've lost a child in Iraq.
- You publicly repudiate the protesting by anyone who hasn't lost a child in Iraq.
- You have always protested the war in Iraq and have always said mean things about President Bush.
- You publicly repudiate the protesting by anyone who hasn't always protested the war in Iraq and hasn't always said mean things about President Bush.
- You absolutely do not talk to the media lest you be called a media whore.
- You publicly repudiate the protesting by anyone who has talked to the media or is a media whore.
Read on for the last six commandments...
- You hate Michael Moore and insist that he hates America and loves the terrorists who are by definition the people who killed your kid.
- You do not have any member of your extended family who disagrees with protesting the war.
- You publicly repudiate the protesting by anyone who doesn't hate Michael Moore or who has an extended family member who disagrees with protesting the war.
- You agree to let Michelle Malkin speak as the public voice for your lost child.
- You publicly repudiate the protesting by anyone who doesn't agree to let Michelle Malkin speak as the public voice for your lost child.
- You immediately cease protesting the minute any other mother/father of a slain soldier comes forward who actually supports the war. Otherwise your protest is synonymous with treason.
There you have it. The twelve commandments of anti-war protesting. Brought to you by your Conservative overlords.
