I'm writing a letter to the editor to my two home town newspapers (Carlisle Sentinel and Harrisburg Patriot) and to the Washington Post.
I want it to have as much impact as possible so I'm asking for critiques from anybody here who wants to help.
Text of the letter is below the fold.
To the Editor:
To all of the Americans out there who took Grover Norquist seriously, please observe the results of "small government" as they unfold in New Orleans. FEMA and other government agencies have been so emasculated by the Bush Administration's tax cuts, maleficence to local government and shift in funds and National Gaurd recources to Iraq that the government in New Orleans really did drown, but unlike Mr. Norquist's dream, it wasn't in a bathtub.
