On a lark, I just checked FOX news' website to see if they run a daily poll like CNN, and they do via
Greta Van Susteren (scroll down the page a bit). Today's poll question is how would you describe the Bush Administration's response to the hurricane.
The results are quite a surprise - see below.
First of all, it really amazes me to see that most of the votes, 39%, are for 'disgraceful,' but if you add up all the numbers, you get:
39% Disgraceful
20% Started bad but improving (well, I guess we can all agree with that)
5% Disappointing.
So, 64% of FOX's respondents have a negative opinion of the federal government's handling of Katrina. I guess everyone has to admit the truth when you watch it unfold right in front of your eyes for an entire week.
As for the 34% who think Bush's doing a great job, well, I'm just surprised it's not larger.
The second thing that shocked me is that anyone can vote in their poll! You don't have to sign in as a card-carrying Bush-lover! Amazing.
