I've been a long time Kos reader but have never diaried. I've had the pleaseure of reading the thoughts of people who were smarter, better informed, and more knowledgeable about the political landscape than I since well before the 2004 election.
With that in mind I'd like to ask the Kos community a few simple questions...
- How come every person connected to the Democratic party or progressive thought doesn't ALWAYS use the words "Bush Pioneer" right before uttering the name "Jack Abramoff?" They would.
- Why has no one ever called the GOP the administration of "OMISSION accomplished."
More on the flip...
- Remember when Cheney burned everyone up by making the ridiculously misleading comment about Al Queda and Saddam having high level ties that "go back a decade?" Why doesn't our side say that the Bush administration and Jack Abramoff have had "high level ties that go back ALMOST a decade?"
- You know the GOP has a talent for putting wedge issue initiatives on the ballot (flag burning, gay marriage, etc.)? Why isn't there some kind of initiative coming up in every state in the union in support of Gardisil - the cervical cancer vaccine the religious right wants to ban because it thinks it will encourage premarital sex? Would the (cough cough) party of life endorse a policy that promotes death just to support it's base?
Now that's a question I'd really like to see answered.
