If anyone deserves to be heckled, it is our Current Occupant. Since he usually only appears before military crowds and other hand-picked audiences of true believers, he stays pretty well insulated from the rage that his policies have created. It's so gratifying to see someone able to break through.
On Thursday in St. Louis, on his way to a campaign fundraiser with Denny Hastert, the Decider addressed a business conference on renewable energy. I don't know that much about the conference. The St. Louis paper said it was sponsored by the Corn Growers Association, Anheuser Busch, and that some Bush cabinet members were there. Sounds like a corporate affair. Anyhow, during Bush's speech, a well-dressed woman stood up and started yelling. She yelled, "Out of Iraq now! Soldiers are not renewable!" And she kept yelling the whole time she was being escorted out the door.
You can see some great video of it on the AP's video website (video.ap.org) if you search on "Bush Heckled in St. Louis". It is really worth watching. This woman is my new hero.
