The Ledger.Com did it...

The TCPALM NEWS did it...

but the Miami Herald couldn't be bothered to do it...

WFTV didn't do it...

and it was probably just too much trouble for CNN.COM to do the right thing...

What is IT? Well, it's identifying Rep. Ralph Arza as a REPUBLICAN. Why is this important? Well, Rep. Ralph Arza just stepped down from his position as a State Representative in Floriday, due to some inappropriate remarks left on a fellow legislator's answering machine. Rep Arza repeatedly called the other representative a "bitch" and a "nigger". The legislator who was being harrassed was correctly identified by the media stories as being a republican, along with identifying Gov. Jeb Bush, who was demanding that Arza resign, as a republican, but for some reason, there's several news outlets, that just won't identify Arza as a republican. They do point out, that the Democrats in the Florida legislature will not stand on the floor with Arza, but it comes across looking like the Democrats are trying to distance themselves from their own.
SHAME SHAME SHAME on the media for being so sloppy on this (but mad props to TC PALM NEWS, and The Ledger.Com for getting it right!).
