Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif will decide whether to investigate certain aspects of the Bush administration.
"I'm going to have an interesting time because the Government Reform Committee has jurisdiction over everything," Waxman said Friday, three days after his party's capture of Congress put him in line to chair the panel. "The most difficult thing will be to pick and choose."
It would seem that Representative Henry Waxman could hold the twenty-first century version of the Church Commission. BushCo clearly has an enemies list; that all started when Ari Fleisher uttered "Americans need to watch what they say" and Bush said "you are either with us or against us."
I can only hope this is the beginning of the end of the concept of the unitary executive. George Bush, you work for me, not the other way around.
