I have $110 burning a hole in my check book. Help me spend it to benefit Democrats in 2008.
Thanks to the Democrats and the Iowa Electronics Markets: http://www.biz.uiowa.edu/... I have $110 to contribute to enhance the Democrats' electoral prospects for 2008.
I deposited one hundred dollars (plus a five dollar administrative fee) and then bought one dollar contracts for Dems Win the House and Dems Win the Senate, ending up with 181 House and 36 Senate contracts. When the Democrats took over the Congress, these markets were liquidated, leaving me with $110 profit that will be paid out on November 30. Help me spend it.
I am looking for the best place or places to contribute my profit with the goal of advancing the electoral outlook for Democrats in 2008. What, in your view, would be the best ways to do that? And, how much are you willing to match? Let's see how far we can leverage my $110. Do you think we can turn it into $1000 for BlogPac or some other comparably good uses for Democrats?
I have a slight preference for building netroots infrastructure. What do you prefer?
List your suggestions and your match? I'll try to pick the ones that best leverage my $110 into maximum benefit for Democrats and make the contribution, relying on those who pledge matches to honor their pledges. It's not too early to start building for 2008, right? Let's get started.
