Jennifer Brunner is running for Ohio secretary of state. Everyone knows Ken's name and the outrageous partisanship he has shown at every turn. We all need someone who will return fairness and trust to the office.
Jennifer Brunner is that candidate.
Jennifer is locked in a tight election with a county clerk of courts.
He has (like Ken Blackwell) allowed identity theft to occur during his time as clerk of courts and he lacks the depth of experience that Jennifer has.
Jennifer is a former judge (she stepped down to run), she has served in the Ohio secretary of state's office before under Sherrod Brown and she has been a member of the Franklin County board of elections. Jennifer also has 13 years of experience as an elections attorney. She understands how elections should be run.
We all know the stakes for 2008 - Ohio and the nation can not afford to have another partisan secretary of state who enjoys disenfranchising voters as a hobby.
We need your help to put Jennifer over the finish line! As of Friday (11:24am), Jennifer is at
$202K on ActBlue. We are trying to make it to $208K by the end of the day and we need your help! Even if it's $15 or $20,
every bit helps return free, fair, open and honest elections to all Ohioans.
In return for your support, please click the picture below and you will get to see Jennifer clean Greg's clock at the recent Cleveland Club Debate. I like to see Democratic candidates who are willing to be aggressive in their campaigns, and Jennifer has been a fighter whenever she needed to be.
Thank you for your help and support!
