The GA races seem to be "persona non grata" around here, but since my first diary just happened (really) to be about the GA Heritage bunch
http://www.georgiaheritagecoalition.org/... , I thought I'd give the latest.
They're linking to Southern Party of GA's endorsement http://spofga.org/...
of (D) Lt. Gov. Mark Taylor for Governor, and black, female (D) Denise Majette, for State School Super.
Southern Party says "Denise Majette has indicated her willingness to provide the same respect for Southern Heritage as any other Heritage in our school systems and opened the door for our input into that process. ... She has been frank and honest in her communications with us and that is more than can be said for Kathy Cox." (Not to be confused with outgoing SoS Cathy "Diebold" Cox, who lost the (D-Gov.) primary to Mark Taylor then didn't ENDORSE him!)
Here's wiki on Ms. Majette: http://en.wikipedia.org/...
Final gubernatorial debate details below the fold...
GA Heritage Council even has a new song about our (R) Governor: "Boss Sonny Boy", to the tune of "Good 'Ol Boys"):

(While this isn't their best work, by far, I think these guys are political satirists to be respected. Check their "X-files".)
I think Taylor (D) trounced Perdue (R incumbent) in the last gubernatorial debate, tonight. He made Perdue look like the major (doubled-his-worth-while-in-office-4-years) crook.
Mark ("Vote, and bring ten kin to put the Big Guy In") Taylor hounded on Perdue's crooked land deal$$. Perdue giggled a lot - a guilty giggle - and smiled when under attack with that Lyndon Johnson smile. Nobody trusts that... Taylor even had a little help from the Libertarian candidate, Gerrett Hayes.
But when the issue of elections came up, Hayes (L) was the only one to address it forthrightly. I was disappointed when Taylor went off on "voter IDs" and used the term "voter fraud" rather than "election fraud" in his answer. Ditto, Perdue.
Neither addressed the REAL issue, and KEEP IN MIND that GA was the Beta-test for Diebold crooked-ness, in 2002, being the first "fully automated voting" state. We "elected" the FIRST Republican governor since the War Between the States, with PERDUE. Hmmm...
But (L) Hayes, in his final comment on the voting issue, laid the problems of "ELECTION fraud" squarely at the feet of outgoing Sec. of State Cathy Cox (Turncoat-infiltrator Democrat - like Zell Miller, Joe Lieberman, etc.). Is it any wonder folks think "I like the Libertarian better, but dare not 'waste' my vote?"
Sure, you can find plenty to take exception with when perusing Heritage's stuff. But take note of what matters, right now.
GA politics is ever entertaining. And rest assured, the People of GA, whomEVER "wins" this election, WILL press the issue of election fraud and reform. We Will.
