Friends in Cincinnati woke me up this morning with
this little tidbit. They are moderate Republicans (eg: small business owners and convinced the Repubs do a better job for them) but through my intervention and the daily news they are slowly converting. Barely a day goes by in which I don't receive a phone call from them that doesn't start with, "What the fuck..." Stuff like this just pushes them further and further over the edge.
The e-mails in question, of which there appears to be several, have not been released so we can only speculate as to their content, and I'm not condoning the boy's actions per se. But come on, there is still such a thing as prosecutorial discretion. Signing loyalty oaths to even see the President at a public forum, presumed dissenters forcibly removed for doing nothing, "free speech" zones, manipulation of the press, lie upon lie upon lie, charging 13 year olds as terrorists, when does it stop?

Boy threatens Bush
29/03/2006 14:45 - (SA)
Florence - A 13-year-old boy has been charged with threatening President George W Bush - who is scheduled to travel to nearby Cincinnati next week - in two emails sent to the mayor, say police.
The teen was in the custody of his mother at their home on Tuesday. He faced one felony count of making a terrorist threat and was due to appear in Boone County family court within two weeks. (emphasis added)
Cloyd (local area police Captain) went to the teen's home on Monday night with agents from the FBI and Secret Service. He said the boy's parents consented to the search, during which a computer was seized.(definition added)
Cloyd said: "He is extremely well-versed in the history of President Bush. In talking with him, you can tell this is a hot-button topic with him."
After exhaustive research, and in an unprecedented display of journalistic skills, I believe I have tracked down the offending youngster -
