I really hate many corporations. But before I go all ballistic which I will, I shall shout out the good companies and organizations like
Working Assests and
Coop America. By now if you have been reading my
blog you realize that I really wish to see corpratists that suck the working poor and middle class dry truly suffer and writhe in pain.
If there was ever an industry I would wish to see a revolt against ( non-violently of course ) it is the credit card companies and the way they do business. Now I'm not saying that credit is not a good thing. People who can be responsible should seek to build a good credit history. However, there are those who are simply preyed upon.
The corpratists and bourgeoisie executives over at the credit card companies and banks know what they are doing when they table on college campuses trying to enslave as many social security numbers ( that's all the kids are to them) into a lifetime of debt and fiscal servitude, those pigs that they are. They also know what they do by sending out mass mailings and targeting people in tough economic situations who will be tempted to sign up for the credit cards thinking that some temporary relief will be good from their medical bills and the other expenses of living.
So here is my little idea and I may not be the first to think of this. In all the credit card mailings that you get, they all come with an envelope that is postage paid. I guess they want to make your fiscal slavery as easy as it can be to happen. What I suggest that everyone do is mail them in!
Yes! That's right mail them in. But scribble across whatever you put in that business reply mail envelope with the first-class mail permit No. whatever, the words "don't prey on me". I'm doing it to a few I had lying around the house.
I know that the people who will probably be having to deal with this are not the executives I wish to annoy, but if enough people actually did, this sooner or later some agitation could be felt.
It's just like what some people have done by mailing back all those stupid AOL disks that we get in the mail.
