Yesterday I began a campaign to write to Newsweek and let them know that we Kossacks will not allow them to portray us as mindless whack liberal sheep without a fight. We are so gung-ho to attack Republican lies and deception, and we must transfer that same spirit to defending ourselves and Kos against unfair, innacurate portrayals in the name of Newsweek appearing "balanced." I'm providing again the different methods you can contact Newsweek, and encourage those who do to leave their letters in the comments for all to see. I've also provided a link to Kos' rebuttal of the article, including several links to other blogger's debunkings, to give an idea of what to write.
Addresses, links, etc. below.

In summary:
1. Mischaracterization of Kos, using blatently inflamatory adjectives and descriptions of his personality and writings.
2. Foot-licking portrayal of Hewitt, as a sane, conservative contrast to Kos.
3. Offering unsourced, conservative soundbites without competing progressive perspectives.
4. General unsourced broad summations and generalizations of Kossacks, Kos, the Democratic Party, and bloggers.
