As much as I like hearing about Bush's falling poll numbers, I LOVE hearing about polls that show Democrats winning in November.
I remember that awful feeling of November 2004. I really, really thought John Kerry was going to win. I had attended rallys listening to him speak. I waved my sign wildly cheering. Same thing with John Edwards. I felt like I was surrounded by people who knew we were going to win.
And then George Bush won. It seemed impossible. But it happened.
Guess what? These mid-term elections are going to ease those bad memories.
Even FOX News Shows Dems With Commanding Lead
With less than three months until Election Day, two new polls from FOX News and the Associated Press-Ipsos show Democrats with an 18-point lead on the congressional ballot. Fred Barnes of the conservative Weekly Standard said the poll suggests "Republican's aren't running real well," while pollster John Gorman said, "Increasingly this election looks like it will be decided by the ugly mood of the electorate."
DEMS LEAD ON CONGRESSIONAL BALLOT BY 18 POINTS IN BOTH POLLS. The FOX News polls shows Democrats leading on the congressional ballot by 18 points, 48%-30. This represents a ten-point jump since July. The AP-Ipsos poll also shows an 18-point lead, 55%-37%.
ANTI-BUSH SENTIMENT IS DRIVING MIDTERM VOTE. In the AP-Ipsos poll, "the number of voters who say their congressional vote this fall will be in part to express opposition to the president jumped from 20 percent last month to 29 percent, driven by double-digit increases among males, minorities, moderate and conservative Democrats and Northeasterners."
50% NOW DISAPPROVE GOP. According to the FOX News poll, 51% of Americans now hold an unfavorable view of the Republican Party, while only 38% have a favorable view of the GOP. Meanwhile, Democrats favorable ratings outweigh their unfavorable ratings by ten points.
INDEPENDENT VOTERS SUPPORT DEMOCRATS. President Bush has a dismal 27% approval rating among Independents in the FOX News poll, and Independents are now giving Democrats a 24-point lead on the congressional ballot.
ALL VOTERS SUPPORT STEM CELL RESEARCH. In the aftermath of President Bush's stem cell veto, the FOX News poll shows that 63% of Americans approve of embryonic stem cell research. Even Republicans approve the research by a ten-point margin.

Do a little dance. Make a little love. Get down tonight.
Yeah, you're damn right I'm in a good mood. The Democrats are taking back the Congress this fall. Fox news even knows it!
As the midterm elections approach, voters say they are much more likely to support a challenger over the incumbent candidate, according to a new FOX News Poll. In addition, "throw the bums out" is a popular choice when voters pick bumper sticker wording to describe the main reason for their vote for Congress this year. President Bush's job rating is unchanged this month holding steady at 36 percent approval.

This isn't just some underhanded FOX spin either. AP polls show it, too!
Republicans determined to win in November are up against a troublesome trend -- growing opposition to President Bush.
An Associated Press-Ipsos poll conducted this week found the president's approval rating has dropped to 33 percent, matching his low in May. His handling of nearly every issue, from the Iraq war to foreign policy, contributed to the president's decline around the nation, even in the Republican-friendly South.

Bush is bringing them all down. Suddenly it all makes sense. This is why it is good Kerry lost. We needed Bush to stick around and make the all
Republicans look idiotic so we can take control of the Congress.
Okay, yeah, I am putting a positive spin on being stuck with Bush as President for eight years but I can feel the hope.
I can feel the momentum for the Democratic Party. The American people can feel it, too.
