Beginning today, Friday August 18, the Ohio Democratic Party is teaming up and traveling by bus throughout the state to get the word out about their candidates and their Turn Around Ohio platform. The two big candidates this fall, Sherrod Brown running for Senate and Ted Strickland running for governor, are being joined by the rest of the Democratic ticket, including Lt. Gov. candidate Lee Fisher, Sec. of State candidate Jennifer Brunner, and Atty Gen. candidate Marc Dann.
The bus tour goes through 13 counties over the weekend, a majority of which is in southwestern Ohio and is considered Republican terrority. The Ohio Democratic Party appears determined not to concede any terrority or votes to the Republicasn Party here in 2006.
