Jim Craig is the House Minority Leader and establishment favorite. He's a good guy, but has run a quiet, safe campaign without taking any major stands on issues. As Russ Feingold would say, he's tried to win by "running out the clock".
Shea-Porter is the grassroots candidate who has taken a strong anti-Iraq war stance and is very proud of her Democratic values. She has only raised someting like $35,000, but she will make waves if she hangs on to win the primary. She will attack Jeb Bradley hard, and won't run away from her positions.
