Republican hopeless wretch
Jim Coburn has been
running an ad attacking Democratic incumbent and all-around nice guy
Gov. John Lynch on not doing enough to combat high gas prices in this state. Anyone who has done any interstate driving in the northeast recently would probably get a good chuckle out of this, and quick check of
average gas prices* in New England reveals how ridiculous this complaint really is:
New Hampshire: $2.508/gal
Maine: $2.528/gal
Massachusetts: $2.546/gal
Rhode Island: $2.643/gal
Vermont: $2.676/gal
Connecticut: $2.750/gal
Gee whiz, I hope people don't start moving away because of high gas prices. Another prime example of what happens when someone looks at facts through those damned GOP-prescribed beer goggles. No wonder he's getting
creamed.
For an extra fun time, watch the video a second time and try and spot Mr. Redshirt "Lynch? I don't like 'em" Gasguzzler goofing off in the background. You'd think Coburn would have access to at least a couple more extras for his man-on-the-street interviews. Hell, he could have stood back there himself...
...no one would have recognized him.
