Here we go again...
I just can't resist another example of Right Wing Sexual Sociopathy. I must testify & bear witness.
Are Republicans all just living, breathing stereotypes? As a progressive, I want to resist stereotyping... But how many examples can we count?
Jeff Gannon? Hookergate? Abu Ghraib? Pageboy Scandal? Brian Doyle, the Homeland Security Internet Pedophile? The endless canon of Republican SEX crimes?
Too many SEX CRIMES to list?
Even more SEX CRIMES to list?
The latest addition to the Right Wing Freakshow is Kevin Alfred Strom, the founder of a U.S. (Virginia-based) White Supremacist organization called National Vanguard ... who (of course) have strictly proscribed laws about SEX.
Strom (as noted at the link, and at the National Vanguard website, which you can find through the Wikipedia link because I have no interest in exposing myself to the surreal mire) was arrested last week on child pornography possession charges.
I understand that posting this diary is like shooting fish-in-a-barrel. And perhaps (perhaps?) "National Vanguard" is a fringe organization (albeit with some solidly GOP values, if you ask me), with Local Chapters in most U.S. cities.
But doesn't it seem remarkable how the river of Republican Sex Criminals seems so endless?
[Side note for theorizing & discussion: although Strom's National Vanguard organization bars from membership "persons of Jewish descent, homosexuals or bisexuals, autistics, criminals, persons with a non-White spouse or sexual partner, or persons with more than an undetectable trace of non-White ancestry," strangely Strom was not caught having sex with any member of these categories: Is this because Strom is unlikely to find any sexual partners in real-life, or is there some deeper and more bizarre psychological explanation? Feel free to ruminate.]
If SEX and matters of sexual purity seem to be an organizing principle of the lives of conservatives, then is it any wonder that the chaos of their private lives seems to spill-over into their public agendas?
