I remember in 2000, when he said that, in terms of the show, they hoped that George W. Bush won the Presidency, and that Hillary Clinton won the Senate seat, strictly for the "comedy value" it would bring to the show.
Now, it seems that the I-man has found Rove, or something similar. Looks like he's only going to admit an error for voting for Clinton, though.

If it walks but not talks... : It sounds like Don Imus may be getting behind the mic before Howie Carr does. The I-man is now out of his New Mexico ranch exile and back in Manhattan. During his hiatus, the grandfather of all the shock talkers has reportedly done a 180-degree turnaround and converted himself into a conservative with a mission to dethrone Queen Hillary. Strictly from an observational point of view, it should be interesting to see how much political media pull or push, if any, this guy has left when he finally returns. He's not yet talking, but is walking, reports New York Post.

Great. First, he voted for people based on how much he could ridicule them. Now, he's already annointed Hillary Clinton as "Queen". Um, listen, dummy; the queen would be Queen Laura.
Now, maybe this story is just a trial balloon to see how the remarks play on the web, or just to sell papers. But, with that attitude, Imus shows that he still thinks it's all about him, and it's not.
