The best sentence I have read in the New York Times for Some time:
Is this the end of Roger Clemens? If it isn’t, it should be.
Now let me say that I don't want to gloat too much about a guy who once struck out 20 guys for the Red Sox.
But the fact that he's a fat ass, ugly, obnoxious redneck means that his downfall pleases me. And the fact that I was forced to watch his tearful retirement years ago in front of a bunch of gullible Texans - also a plus.
And the fact that Steinbrenner is bleeding an eight figure salary to the putz? Big time chuckles.
The best part: that the NY Yankees had to resort to using Clemens as the starter last night speaks volumes about their World Series Hopes.
