Survey USA has polled key senate races for Roll Call. Numbers on the flip.
Credit to a poster called Johnny Longtorso on another board, who aggregated the numbers from Survey USA's copious data.
New Hampshire
Shaheen (D) - 53%
Sununu (R) - 42%
Sununu (R) - 49%
Buckey (D) - 36%
This looks right to me. Shaheen has a solid lead over incumbent Sununu which should hold for a while longer. Sununu won't give up without a fight and New Hampshire voters are independent, so we can't count on this holding up.
Maine
Collins (R) - 55%
Allen (D) - 38%
This is disappointing, but not surprising. Collins may be too personally popular to defeat or to tie to George W. Bush. On the plus side, we can expect her to work with a Democratic President and strengthened Democratic majority on initiatives that will help Mainers.
Colorado
Udall (D) - 48%
Schaffer (R) - 41%
This race won't move anywhere for a while. Like New Hampshire, the Democrat looks strong but we can't take anything for granted among an independent electorate. Schaffer is probably less palatable to the middle than Sununu.
Virginia
Warner (D) - 57%
Gilmore (R) - 35%
Warner (D) - 52%
Allen (R) - 42%
Run, George, Run!
New Mexico
Chavez (D) - 48%
Pearce (R) - 43%
Denish (D) - 47%
Pearce (R) - 43%
Richardson (D) - 58%
Pearce (R) - 37%
Pearce (R) - 49%
Wiviott (D) - 32%
Chavez (D) - 48%
Wilson (R) - 44%
Denish (D) - 49%
Wilson (R) - 43%
Richardson (D) - 59%
Wilson (R) - 37%
Wilson (R) - 47%
Wiviott (D) - 38%
No Udall polls. Heather Wilson has a craptastic 48% disapproval rating. Tom Udall, the door is wide open for you.
Minnesota
Coleman (R) - 46%
Franken (D) - 45%
Coleman (R) - 44%
Ciresi (D) - 44%
Oregon
Smith (R) - 48%
Merkley (D) - 39%
Smith (R) - 45%
Novick (D) - 39%
Both sets of polls are more promising than what we've seen in the past. Incumbents are below 50% and the Democrats in Oregon have zero name recognition. I'm feeling more optimistic about Franken than I have in months. If Minnesota wants to boot out a Bush rubber stamp like Coleman, they'll do it... the last Senate race was an absolute blow-out for the Democrat.
