I don't have the capability to do this all by myself.
In order to help explain where we are coming from in the Nevada Democratic primary debate context I think it would help to give a sampling of just why pretty much all of us here don't believe Fox News is an honest news outlet.
Sure, they are the largest. But that doesn't mean they are the a legitimate news organization. Here is a good example of how that kind of thing can happen:
Here it is actually happening:

Only its not so funny or overt is it? And Bill doesn't even count as news.
We all have our reasons why we know Fox is Faux.
We all have witnessed a certain amount of dishonesty, a twisting of the truth, that, like the preponderance of voting errors to always be in the Republican favor, consistently strengthens the Republican world view. It is a kind of bending of the truth that is incomparable in any other television news organization. It is an actual infection of dishonesty, living off of the desire for Republican control of everything that is the life's blood of the Fox News.
I can say that, but I have to back it up. The only thing I can do is give examples of this preponderance for slights of truth that launder the Republican history.
Today all I can do is look for what I have seen before on DKos.
This is where you come in. I hope you agree that it would be helpfull to list this conveniently in one place. Not just for the Democratic Party in Nevada, but also as an excercise for ourselves to remember clearly just what it is that makes Fox News faux news. Even to remind us of just how much lying has been done to us by Republicans. The value of this may be to at least cause the impeachment of the Republicans greatest mouthpiece from the ears of some more innocent victims.
One of my most used political arguments with people IRL is "you're being lied to". And thanks to what I pick up here on a daily basis, I can tell them how the policy pushed by Republicans doesn't really work and just sounds nice and easy, almost on any topic. That is pretty effective, and the sort of thing that won us the elections we did last November.
But what I am not able to do, because I don't watch the piece of shit channel, is show that they are being lied to by liars. What I'm hoping to do here is tap into our collective memories for Fox News faux news stories. Any example of "mistakes" having a clear bias or just clear lies.
But here is the thing. I'm not looking for statistics on who shows up from the left or the right. It needs to be something I could have witnessed in the ten minutes I'm exposed while I'm getting my car washed or oil changed (I managed to get the owner of the car wash to turn on another network for about a year. Don't know why it's back now. Maybe this information will help...). I am aware there are sites that can give plenty about the overall question of integrity, but thats not what I want. It needs to be short and sweet, and the lack of honesty self evident, or at least clarified in three sentences or less. It should clearly be a distortion or a lie. K.I.S.S. (try anyways). And I believe the volume of examples we can put together could be quite compelling.
Please no anecdotal or subjective evidence (stories you heard or things that just seem suspicious but are not evident). Only televised events, moments that others would have witnessed too. You can validate others claims by recommending. Please try not to repeat. And don't forget youtube and google video may have clips.
Here are a couple I was able to find.
The SOTUS did no such thing.
"What Fox News Doesn't Report"
There are so many...
Here is a diary that will help you post videos from youtube. I understand that youtube and googles format will work too now.
But you don't have to have a video to mention something. Its OK if most don't. Maybe someone else can find it. Or someone else will say they saw that crap too. Just reminisce.
Thanks.
