MSNBC is reporting that Bush will veto the Iraq spending bill this evening and then give a televised address at around 6:10 Eastern time (link).
President Bush said Tuesday that Democrats who made the legislation a showdown over withdrawing U.S. troops could turn Iraq into a "cauldron of chaos" with their approach.
I don't know about you, but I'm curious about what his idea of a "cauldron of chaos" would be if Iraq isn't one already.
So, on this four-year anniversary of the famous "Mission Accomplished" speech, my question to you all is this: What's next? What happens after Bush announces the veto? I'd love to see Congress send the same bill -- or an even harsher one -- right back to him, but will it happen?
