Cross Posted from My Turn No Blind Eye blog on my.Barackobama.com:
So, today is a good day. We're all happy with the news that Karl Rove has resigned. Maybe this means the administration will start coming towards something like... hm... reality? I won't hold my breath. Not as long as Cheney is still hanging around.
My name is Bryan Barash. I know a lot of people don't like to give their real name online, but I don't mind it. I'm from Long Island, NY, and this is my first blog posting here on my.barackobama.com. I'm a regular visitor / contributor to DailyKos.com, so I'm familiar with the blog format, this is just my first time here.
...more below the jump.
Since this is my first blog I'd also like to point out for anyone who hasn't already wandered across it the unsettling rumor that GWB has bought land in Paraguay. While this article doesn't touch on it, it's also worth noting that Paraguay has recently adopted a law against (from what I understand) extraditing or prosecuting any US official or military officer for war crimes. So we can expect that if the times get tough, for GWB there will always be Paraguay.
Lastly, I wanted to let you all know that I will be attending Camp Obama next weekend in NYC and would like to meet up with some people from the area and get to know some of you. If you are going to be there please get in touch with me through here so I will have a few people to meet up with. I don't know anyone else who's going yet.
Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you. I'll be liveblogging on here as well as on Kos every day after workshops or whatever we'll be doing are over. Whether you're going or not, stop by to find out what's going on and / or say hi to people you may have met (or to me). If you want to check out my diary at dailykos, it's here: Bryan Barash's Turn No Blind Eye Blog.
Oh, and have no fear, if you're an Obama fan and you don't like the polls. They don't really matter very much. This time last election cycle Joe Lieberman had double the showings of anyone else, and now he's not even in our party.
