Politics, Music, Historic or Personal Events are all open for discussion. More below the Fold:
For me the 1970’s began on April 22,1970 when a group of us from my Junior Year High School History Class, with the concurrence of our Teacher, led a school walkout to protest the fact that the High School would not only do nothing to commemorate the First Earth Day, they also would not close the School Early for this celebration of the Environment.
We were successful in closing the School that day.
John Edwards is the same age as me, Elizabeth a few years older. They were also very much Children or actually Young Adults of the 70’s.
