Oh, not me. This isn't a GBCW diary. I'm not going anywhere. I just wanted to say goodbye to all the people who are currently sure they're not voting for Hillary Clinton if she's the nominee--or even worse, voting for McCain.
Or, hilariously, Bloomberg.
I'm concerned that I, and the vast majority of Kossacks who will vote for whoever the nominee is, will be too busy after the convention to offer a proper farewell to those that refuse to vote for Clinton, so I'm saying it now.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not telling anybody to leave. It'd be great if you stuck around. But it's logical to assume that anybody who is so dedicated to their principles that they won't vote for Clinton won't possibly be able to stick around a place that's going to be working so hard to get her elected.
Courage of your convictions and all that.
I mean, if Clinton's the nominee, this place is going to be pretty much 24/7 Let'sHelpHillaryWin.com. After all, the FAQ does say:
It's a Democratic blog with one goal in mind: electoral victory.
Sure, there'll be other important races, but the Oval Office is the big one. It's the most important job on the planet (those of us currently not supporting Clinton but still intending to vote for her realize this), and one we know has to be filled with a Democrat. If you want to stick around for those other races, super, but I can't imagine you'd want to, with all the good Clinton talk that's going to be going on and you--a person of high principles and standards--feeling that she's such an evil, mean, bad, evil, evil person. You probably won't want to be associated with any site that promotes evil.
So, no hard feelings. Bye. Good luck with your non-vote. Or vote for McCain.
Or, ahahahaha, Bloomberg.
Still cracks me up.
P.S. I don't support Clinton in the primaries.
