So much for a message of hope.
IN fairness , her point was that if we re not united in Novemeber, we will not win, but she repeated the phrase multiple times.
I dont think Barck has ever said those words.
Hes always talking about winning and changing the country.
This was at the STOBU event by Tavis Smiley.
During the Qand A period with Tavis, she stated almost in hubris like fashion, that the superdelegates had a "special" relationship with the candidates that "the voters" do not have. Therefore, they should vote independently of the voters.
I thought it was extremely dismissive of the democratic electorate.
She was in effect saying, your votes do not count. Because you dont know me in the special way the superdelegates do.
Overall, it was a somber looking Hillary, but as calculating as ever trying to win the nomination in whatever way possible.
She used the event to point out that Bill CLinton was always a friend to black people. Dont think she will gain much in that constituency though.
