Hello to all. This is my first diary but it won't be long. After observing this primary race for the last year, the animosity that has emerged within the Democratic Party can have lasting effects upon supporters. Because this primary has lasted for so long the eventual nominee will, seemingly, not have enough time to properly prepare for the Republicans.
To quell the animosity and anxiety amongst the voters and to give our nominee adequate time to prepare the general election campaign, I believe the party should consider ending the primaries much sooner. Watching this primary election play has been somewhat painful and embarassing at times.
So to prevent this from happening in the future I think the DNC needs to revise the months for ending the primaries. I think March would be a good time to have our nominee wrapped up so we can get on with the business of the general election. What do you guys/gals think?
