On May 1st the 1st part of a the 5 part documentary series War Without End aired on AlJazzera.
The series looks back at 5 years of the Iraq war revisiting the pivotal events and policies that have morphed operation Iraq freedom into never-ending Iraq occupation. .
The first part of the series begins on May 1st 2003.. Mission Accomplished. Al Jazeera's Hoda Abdel Hamid tells the story with concise contextual facts, firsthand analysis form those involved at the time and never before seen footage.
This is an Iraq on the ground documentary, focusing on events that happened in the public eye and how we see them today in light of hindsight.
