Today's the day Scott McClellan (hopefully) squeals. Or C-Span puts it:
House Committee

Conyers, John Jr. U.S. Representative, D-MI
McClellan, Scott Press Secretary (2003-2006), White House

Get your popcorn ready...
Rules:
- No pics: pie, pootie or otherwise. That includes videos.
- We ask for volunteers to do transcripts for those who can't hear all of the yummy oversightness. We'll have a thread for the transcripts.
- Between 200-250 comments we'll get a new diary going. IOW: I'll need volunteers.
FYI: this is scheduled to be on C-Span 3 at 9:30am.
UPDATE (10:22) -- What you are seeing right now is a replay of the first 45 minutes. Currently, the Judiciary Committee is with the rest of the House voting on FISA. When they return, they will resume with the hearing. Also, check out this post on the hearing from ThinkProgress.
UPDATE 2 (11:25) -- Per mcjoan (regarding FISA):
Debate on the latest version of the Protect AT&T has begun. It's going to move fairly fast, with just an hour of debate. Conyers is leading the opposition.
Considering that Conyers is chairing this hearing, we can expect the recess to continue until he's done over there.
UPDATE 3 (11:45) -- I have to step out for about an hour; hopefully they'll be back by then.
UPDATE 4 (12:25) -- I'm back but I would really like someone(s) to keep this thing going. You can even cut-and-paste if you'd like. And for those who think these hearings are a waste of time: Please note that John Dean said that while he didn't believe that Congress had much of a case against Nixon initially, but the investigation was key to seeing just how deep the rabbit hole was
P.S.: I'm really pissed at Steny Hoyer right now.
UPDATE 5 (12:54) -- New diary here. Please rec that one and unrec this. Thanks guys!
