Campaign officials say Republican John McCain raised more than $22 million in June for his presidential bid.
That's McCain's best month yet. He ends the month of June with nearly $27 million cash on hand, according to campaign officials.
McCain campaign manager Rick Davis said Thursday that McCain and the national Republican Party together entered the month of July with about $95 million in the bank.
The money has given McCain the ability to outspend Democratic rival Barack Obama on television advertising in key battleground states, Davis says.
Kos, maybe it's time you sent in that check... the RNC has $68M to kick around on super negative advertising... though some large portion of that number will need to go to balance our advantages over the Congressional and Senate races so unlike Obama's COH totals, $68M aren't 100% Presidential.

Also says the GOP campaign is spending $10 million less per month to operate than Obama’s, and McCain’s campaign has outspent Obama’s on advertising by almost 3:1 over the last two months.

Major donors to Barack Obama's campaign were told Wednesday evening that fundraising efforts were "a little slow" and that they should help retire Hillary Clinton's campaign debt so that the New York Democrat's supporters would, in turn, give to Obama
