The guy we all love and who coincidentally is the only person who can end this 8 year nightmare is calling out for 25$ donations today. https://donate.barackobama.com/...
This is in direct contrast to mcsame's sudden corporate-donations windfall. He's been busy collecting huge checks from Washington lobbyists and special interest PACs, and has raised more money than ever before his team is bragging. Combined with the rnc, they now have more than $95 million in cash on hand.
It's time to get over all... (more)
squabbling!
Take note: BHO has always been a rather conservative Democrat. He liked lieberman! This of course gives lie (as always) to the republic spin of his being "the most liberal Senator in the hsitory of the universe!"
Anyhow, the time to argue the minutae of policy disagreements is after he is elected. Maybe the environment will become more favourable for increasingly progressive policies then... after he's elected! Show the man much love please.
He can change the world and the Supreme Court and end the war in Iraq (he's unequivacal in today's NYT's op-ed so there's hope) and revisit FISA and take more environmentally friendly positions on saving our species from self-destruction! I'm pretty sure john's supporters are not lobbying for these things.
Note: Sorry for the misunderstanding over the use of the word "conservative." Firstly, I did not want anyone to infer that Obama and lieberman were in any way to be linked vis a vis current policy beliefs and positions.
Just a reminder that when he began Because his career in the Senate this man was his mentor. Of course back then Joe hadn't lost his mind completely; reached the level of wingnuttery he has achieved now. joe's alibiing for the White House to help cover-up their many scandals and lies is ridiculous and horrible.
In contrast, Obama said today he wants to "...end the war in Iraq."
It's gonna' be a slog you know because conditions on the ground, according to what Obama said today, are fluid and Obama is going to have to be the same. So be prepared for endless talking points about Barrack leaning to the right and changing his positions. But he was unequivocal about his solution: find the end to that war.
Lately, I find myself likening Obama to Jackie Robinson. Jackie, was not chosen because he was the the best African American baseball player out there at the time, he was gifted it must be noted: a five-tool player as they say, but Jackie was chosen because he was the toughest mentally! And that's what I think we have in Barrack.
I'm way to the left of him and think he's awesome! I'm okay with disagreements on some issues you know? I don't have to get everything I want to be a much happier person.
I think he plays it close to the vest and carefully because he has to. It's a very racist world as the media strives to pove to us each day of the week and before he can manuver, the groundwork must all be layed. There are no leaps of faith for him from the media. There is no benefit of the doubt like mcnutty gets every day of the week.
And there's really nothing wrong with moving slowly and cautiously right? - that's what the word conservative used to mean but it is my fault for not differentiating from the current version who is not conservative but rather a modern republican: War-mongering supporter of torture treasury theft and Constitutional violations. Oh, and despoiler of the environment.
My bad.
