The image McCain has presented of himself to the country, is very different than what he actually believes and all of us here know that but, there are many that do not know that. Well the best way to show the country that would be to make an ad, and what better way to show this than to compare his apparent beliefs to that of his token VP. Also, as we all know Palin's views are very extreme and since McCain would like us to think he is a maverick and independent why would he pick someone so against his apparent views.
I'm not to good at the visuals so bare with me. I image the ad featuring a picture of McSame and Falin together from their appearance together in Ohio. The commentator says something along the lines that
"McCain claims to be a maverick and independent but if he really was, why would he pick someone from the far fringes of the right as his VP."
Then go into the comparison of the views McCain would like us to believe he has to the views Palin has. For example,
"McCain says that he believes in Global warming and that we need to do something to stop the global issue, if he really believed in global warming, then why did he pick a VP who consistently has claimed global warming a lie.
*Note Lieberman bill
McCain says he believes that Obama's energy police is wrong and a danger for our country, yet he picked a VP who has praised his energy policies. McCain claims to be against pork barrel spending yet his VP pick supported the bridge to nowhere.
McCain claims to put America first yet picked a VP who addressed the Alaska Independence Party state convention last year.
McCain says he supports integrity in government, yet he picked a VP who tried to deny due process to a state trooper. Can we trust someone to run our country who cannot even make up his mind on the issues, can we really trust someone with no experience to be only a heart beat away from the presidency? How can we know where they stand when they don't even know. That is not change we need, that is more of the same."
And there you go that is my idea. The ad could easily be added to when Palin actually forms opinions on issues like......well pretty much everything except for whats mentioned here. Both of them are pretty abysmal candidates, not to mention dangerous for our country. So far the Obama campaign has been slow to respond effectively but I trust what they are doing.
