Now that I have your attention, I'm gonna ask ya for some donations. Stephen Camp is running for Congress against Lynn Westmoreland aka 3 Commandment Lynn in GA-03. Westmoreland starts off with a monetary lead as the incumbent so Stephen needs every dollar we can send his way. Add $.03 to show your solidarity with Stephen and to let him know your contribution came from Dkos.
Providing Affordable and Quality Health Care
We are caught in an insurance and health-care cycle that is adversely affecting the insured as well as the uninsured people of this country. Today, nearly 50 million Americans lack health insurance. Often, these Americans go without care, which results in higher health-care costs down the road. When they receive care (be it now or "down the road"), the cost of treatment gets passed on by providers to those who do have coverage, resulting in higher and higher premiums. Consequently, tens of millions more Americans are woefully under-insured because they cannot afford quality health insurance. It is in all of our interest to break this cycle and provide affordable health care for all – starting with our children. To do it well, everyone must have a role in achieving this coverage, including health-care providers, employers, private insurance, and the public sector. The objective, however, must be the same for everyone at the table – meaningful health care for all Americans.
No Blue dog there.
Growing our Economy, Investing in Education, and Building a Sustainable Energy Policy.
Going forward, we need to build an economic plan around our greatest asset – our people. That means investing in the education of our students and the training of our workers – in manufacturing, engineering, health care, and in the renewable-energy technologies that are crucial to our long-term sustainability and growth. We live in an age where we are competing with countries around the world for industries and new jobs. Consequently, we owe our people the best educational and training opportunities. If we invest in our people, the world will invest in us.
Amen brother!

A personal note here. I've lived in districts that have been represented by Republicans for over 16 years now and I think I'm in a position to help change that. From Joe Barton and Dick Armey in Texas to 3Commandment Lynn here in Georgia. Help me make that change possible, donate to Stephen's campaign today.
OMG
Timroff and I were brainstorming after I met and talked to Stephen and we thought of several ideas, one was a poster that resulted in a poster by Timroff. The other was a crazy idea to play on Stephen's name. No matter were you live you can show solidarity with us in GA-03 by putting up a tent in your yard and a Camp For Congress GA-03. Take a picture and send it to Timroff and we'll post them here. We want this to go viral. If you're going to a football game Saturday and you're tailgating, make a cluster of tents and/or canopies call it Camptown and put up Camp For Congress GA-03 signs for solidarity. We want to draw national attention to this race and you could help us by doing these small and silly things.
Okay time for Mojo Friday Guidelines

B. 100 recommends for each comment, at least.

F. Have at least 75% average participation rate as seen here in the Mojo Friday Postgame Show by goffnews.
G. (New) Have at least 30 kossacks over 90% participation (see here for some tips).
H. Overload the servers with recommends, not to mention dominate Top Comments Mojo list. (we do tend to mess with the site with all of our recommends at one time)(also, to dominate the Top Comments Top Mojo we need at least 50 comments with over 100 recommends, see guideline B)
I. That's enough for now. (Have a suggestion? Post it.)
