"Everybody who supports single-payer healthcare says, ‘Look at all this money we would be saving from insurance and paperwork.’ That represents 1 million, 2 million, 3 million jobs of people who are working at Blue Cross Blue Shield or Kaiser or other places. What are we doing with them? Where are we employing them?"
Senator Obama, this is exactly the question I was waiting for you to answer -- not use as some sort of a rhetorical trick.
We have millions of people who are not 'gainfully employed' -- 16% of our GDP goes to Health Care. That is Wrong. Our Economy needs reprioritization -- I'm no economist, but this recession wouldn't be so bad if manufacturing got a little help.

We cannot pay the bills now. Iraq is bankrupting us. We need to raise tax revenue, and the easiest way is to stop buying into the Zero Sum Game that Wall Street is currently obsessed with.
Senator, how do you intend to help the economy? Do you think that a Strong Dollar Policy is going to help?
I expect a president to lead. And that means guiding our economy and finding a way to encourage growth that does not lead to 30% profits from the FINANCIAL Sector.
Balance our budget. Finance your programs without spending a penny more of my money. Don't worry, it won't be too hard. In fact, all it requires is leadership and long eyes.
This is why Obama proves a perpetual disappointment. His hope is illusory, he is indeed a fairy-tale Prince -- with the elitism that implies.
Go ahead, Obama, stop compromising, stop selling America to feed your own interests... I'll be waiting 'round the bend.
