Your Problem Is With Black People in South Carolina. Obama's won big in South Carolina this weekend. Geekesque explained back in October the advantages of having a gay-baiter Donnie McClurkin on stage for Obama:
If this is the test, that Barack Obama--or any other Democrat who really cares about gay rights--needs to publicly denounce and personally repudiate anyone with Donnie McClurkin's views about homosexuality, then you are essentially calling for a purge of African-American voters in the South from the party.
Don't believe me?
Believe the math
If there are 10,000 people in the audience at a gospel concert, 6,200 hold the same basic beliefs as Donnie McClurkin...
Action talks, and bullshit walks. Either you're for the 50-state strategy, or you're for the 10 state strategy where a comfortable majority aren't homophobic....
Shocked? Expecting outrage at Geek's crude characterization of the AA community in SC as a bunch of gay-hating bigots who Dems can't risk offending?

Damn, this shit is your best Geek. (34+ / 0-)
Really. This says it all. If we want to win, with ANY CANDIDATE, the above says it all. Now, if we want to loose the Black Vote, go ahead, the Republicans are waiting. They truly are. How do you think Bush got elected in 2004? Many of these southern churches, and in the west, mid-west, east, with Black Ministers and parishoner were "courted" by the Bush Crew. Yes. I know a black church in Milwaukee that was democratic one week, and REPUBLICAN, the next. Fact.

The African-American community are homophobic bigots?
Defending gay-baiting as a political necessity?
The Obama victory in SC began with a cold calculated call to bigots.
The right move, according to Geek and Slim.
