As we all know, esteemed conservative prognosticator Bill Kristol makes his NY Times debut today.
The thought of giving this idiot a larger platform for his idiocisms makes me ill, considering how many strong progressive voices deserve such a platform and will probably never achieve it.
So what to do?
I live in NYC and I was thinking about egging the NY Times's lovely new building on 8th Avenue. But that's a waste of food, and not fair to the people who have to clean it up.
Then I read Tom Tomorrow's comic over at Salon. And I wondered if Andy Rosenthal, the Editorial page editor of the Times who hired Kristol and was the recipient of great insights from Kristol while Rosenthal was a journalist and Kristol was busy teaching Dan Quayle how to spell "potatoe".
I'd like to make sure Rosenthal does see it, and my sending it alone won't necessarily do it. But if a dozen, or couple dozen, or say a hundred or so do it, he'll probably see it.
Rosenthal's e-mail address as Editorial page editor is editorial@nytimes.com.

Do it. You'll feel better afterwards. I did.
