Those great, creative folks at truthandhope.org are helping with a new radio ad, called Bridge to Nowhere, targeted at Montana.
This radio ad is specifically targeted at young undecided voters in Montana. It's a close race up here and we know we can do it. Please help us--because radio is cheap as dirt here a small donation via ActBlue can go a long way toward getting this ad on the air.
I know a lot of you have a sentimental feeling for our little big state (nevermind that our western border looks like a silhouette of Richard Nixon--spooky), are fans of our extraordinary governor, and have shown strong support for us as we try to join the blue-state party. The several visits we've enjoyed from Barack starting last November--he even spent the Fourth of July in Butte--were unprecedented here and reflect the deep belief held by many of us that we can put this state in the win column.
Polls this summer showed strong support for Obama. But a poll taken just after the RNC showed the numbers flipped in McCain's favor. We hoped that would be a short-lived Palin bump, but another poll taken a few weeks later still had us in the McCain camp. Today's poll shows we're crawling back but we need strong push to win this one for Obama
This ad targets persuadables and undecideds and tries to show them how disastrous a McCain/Palin choice would mean to their future.
I know we're all tapped out, I know the time is getting short, but here in Montana we really believe we can do it. Just five bucks will get that 30-second spot on the air. Check out the ad then toss us a few bones. We'll repay you with a great big patch of blue on those election night maps.
