I am a young man (19 years old) and a student of political science. I'm studying political science and we learn about the ups and downs of winning and losing campaigns over the course of history. I have lived through 4 presidential cycles so far and only paid attention to one, the Bush-Kerry race in 2004, I was in high school and followed the campaign but not very closely.
I hear everywhere that the McCain campaign is one of the worst run campaigns in recent memory. I know that many of my fellow Kossacks have lived through many of these elections and followed them very closely, I want to honestly know does the McCain campaign look like it's truly headed for defeat? I would ask that you post your responses in the comments section I would really appreciate it.
This is the first election that I have paid very close attention to and I don't know how to compare it to others since I only barely paid attention to one in 2004.
All partisanship and biases aside, with less than 2 weeks to go until election day is John McCain cooked like a Thanksgiving turkey?
**Update: No this is not a joke and I know just as much about politics as most of you, but I do not have the experience in previous elections of following day to day developments in the news since I was very young. The fact that it seems all but certain Sen Obama is headed for a major victory in a little less than 2 weeks is surreal. Especially compared to the campaign maps of the last 2 election cycles and the ones preceding Bill Clinton's 2 terms in office.
