Forgive me if someone else has diaried this but I am just watching the 7pm hardball and Duncan Hunter was on. He spent his entire segment talking about the economy iraq war????
With my beloved Joe Biden handed McCain a bit of a gift with his international crisis comment last week, the McCain sees a bit of an opening. In conjunction with their "this chair" ad:
They are out with a new ad using Biden's words against him:
Nothing new here right? But Duncan Hunter, with ELEVEN days left in the campaigns, was on Hardball tonight arguing with Chris Mathews about the Iraq war. He told Chris that once the American people consider the foreign policy problems we have in Iraq, Afghanistan and possibly Iran they will vote for McCain. There was not ONE mention of the economy and when pressed by Mathews about the top concern of the American people Duncan Hunter said it would be foreign policy. I also had the unfortunate experience of getting my haircut today and being forced to watch a McCain rally on Fix News. The highlighted portion of the rally was the section that McCain spent talking about Biden's comments.
Look, we all know if McCain talks about the economy he loses right? And we all know that the only area in which the american people trust McCain more than Obama is in an international crisis. So will the McCain campaign spend the next 11 days pushing the international affairs issue?
